Pod Group Launches Hong Kong Office and Complete APAC IoT Connectivity Solution at CommunicAsia

New Office Will Serve Customers and Partners Across the APAC Region

Hong Kong, 25 June 2018 – Pod Group, a provider of platforms, software and connectivity services for Internet of Things (IoT) and connected enterprises has today announced that it has opened a new office in Hong Kong, from which the company will serve the whole APAC region. As part of its launch in the Asian market, Pod Group’s specialist IoT connectivity division, Pod Group will be exhibiting at one of the most established telecoms shows in the region, CommunicAsia, where it will be introducing a complete APAC IoT connectivity solution, with coverage on all networks plus IoT security and billing from one centralized platform.

The inauguration of the Hong Kong office follows the launch in May of the Mexican and Nicaraguan offices and allows Pod to offer a truly global service to its customers. As well as the 24/7 emergency support service, customer account managers will be available 24 hours from the different global offices, which also include teams in the UK, Spain and USA.

The APAC Multi-Network Solution to be presented at CommunicAsia allows flat-rate roaming in all countries throughout Asia, on one IoT SIM card which connects to the best signal on device start-up and automatically switches network if signal is lost. The SIM also includes Pod’s award-winning multi-IMSI applet, which allows it to be updated Over The Air (OTA) as pricing and coverage change, ideal for future-proofing remote and mission critical applications which are difficult to access. Pod’s advanced network security suite for mission critical applications and centralized management and billing via one platform complete the solution.
