Pod Group Announces Partnership Program at CTIA Super Mobility to facilitate quick time to market for M2M and IoT solutions
Gurtam, Betaar3 and Gosafe announce participation
Pod Group, the expert in connectivity for the M2M and IoT industries has today announced a new partnership program for providers of M2M and IoT hardware and software which aims to fast track solutions to market by providing tried and tested components for companies looking to develop end-to-end solutions.
The program already has the support of software solutions providers Gurtam and Betaar3 as well as Gosafe who provide hardware for fleet management solutions. The aim is to create a community in each sector enabling developers to choose the best combination of components for their product and benefit from advice from experts in M2M and IoT with experience in their industry. The first sector covered is GPS tracking for fleet management and logistics, a sector in which Pod Group is particularly strong due to its expertise in roaming and multi-network SIMs.
Gurtam provides a powerful fleet intelligence software platform called Wialon, which allows GPS tracking solution companies to deliver a feature-rich and cost effective service to end-user fleets globally. The platform is used by more than 650 solution providers on five continents and enables end-user businesses across many different vertical markets to track over 750 000+ assets combined.
Sergei Leuchanka, Managing Director at Gurtam commented, “We are excited to partner with Pod Group and be in a position to recommend them as a connectivity provider with an excellent track record for reliable service and outstanding customer experience. Choices for connectivity are vast, but not many providers can boast the same level of staff dedication and technical capabilities that many of our customers in North America have come to expect from Pod Group. Our industry is in a phase of rapid growth, and partners such as Pod Group help accelerate it by doing everything possible to exceed customers’ expectations.”
Betaar3 is a global provider of mobile workforce solutions for service-based businesses of all sizes delivered as software-as-a-service (SaaS). The solutions, which can be customized depending on customer requirements, enable businesses to handle challenges associated with managing fleets of vehicles and improve the productivity of their mobile workforces.
These include “SAPPHIRE” a user friendly software platform with the flexibility to integrate with existing systems like SAP, Oracle and many CRM solutions. The company was recently recognized by CIO Magazine for an application designed to increase the safety of children on school buses.
Ashe Dougra, CEO of Betaar3 said, “Partnering with Pod Group gives us the ability to provide turnkey solutions, cutting down the lead time for implementation and realizing faster ROI.”
Gosafe develops and distributes GPS Fleet Management products including hardware and software solutions that utilize existing wireless network infrastructures to provide web-based vertical applications to commercial customers as well as consumers. Gosafe’s products are sold in more than 100 countries globally spanning America, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa.
John Dufresne, Director of Gosafe commented, “Gosafe Systems and Pod Group have been working closely together since the get-go. We joined the partner program because we believe in the mission and philosophy of Pod Group. They truly provide a great service at an extremely competitive rate. I would not be surprised if we see Pod Group as one of the top M2M connectivity providers in the nation within the next couple of years.”
Sam Colley, CEO of Pod Group added, “Many companies that contact us regarding connectivity are also looking for other components of their solution such as hardware and software. Through more than 15 years supporting customers in this industry we have experience of the different solutions available and how they work together. For example, some hardware and software works well with multi-network SIMs, while some works better with single network SIMs. This program will help us to streamline that service for our customers and make it easier for them to put end to end solutions together.”
Developers of IoT and M2M solutions will be able to visit a dedicated area of Pod Group’s website to search for recommended devices and software, as well as talk to Pod Group’s team of experts about their specific requirements.
Charles Towers-Clark, Managing Director of Pod Group said, “Our service has always gone above and beyond providing global connectivity and many of our customers also rely on our advice regarding other aspects of their solutions. Having the support of global leaders such as Gurtam, Betaar3 and Gosafe will enable us to provide a wide range of options to help our customers in the tracking and fleet management sector design end-to-end solutions that exactly match their requirements.
Further partnerships focusing on other M2M and IoT sectors will be announced in due course.
