The Pod Consulting Group is named for an office cubicle (also known as a 'pod'.) In the days when office cubicles ruled the business world, our founders were working hard in business development on a number of important space and satellite ventures, including the International Space Station, the Ariane 5 and Delta series of launch vehicles, DirecTV, and commercial satellite telecommunications and data services.

The programs that were developed by our founders here in Los Angeles were supported by the work of thousands of engineers and scientists from around the globe to create much of the space infrastructure that is orbiting the Earth today.

As creators of these orbiting networks that have provided the world with much of its space-based telecommunications, direct-to-user entertainment, deep space exploration and near Earth habitation for our nascent space-faring civilisation, our team stands ready to support the next phase of development in space.

And so, the Pod Consulting Group was created in 1998 to expand humankind's horizons and find ways to bring space technology into daily use, both here on Earth and, in the space that surrounds us.
